La Economía basada en el Conocimiento es tema central en todos los países que compiten con nosotros en la búsqueda de inversión de capital para el desarrollo económico. Desafortunadamente, aquí pareciera ser tema de unos pocos. Sugerimos aquí una caracterización de la Economía del conocimiento, sus pilares, mirando las áreas de prioridad donde debe invertir aquel país que aspira a capitalizar sobre este modelo de desarrollo económico.

Ante una situación problemática, nuestra primera reacción tiende a ser negativa, y buscamos a qué o a quién fijarle la responsabilidad. Pensamos como victimas, y entregamos el control con alguna pregunta dirigida a señalar algún victimario. Nuestra forma habitual de reaccionar evade la responsabilidad personal de cada uno de nosotros. Para curar este mal, cada uno de nosotros tiene que luchar para invertir su forma de pensar y plantearse preguntas que reflejen responsabilidad personal.

A commitment to communicate effectively with employees conveys a very important message throughout the organization. Some basic pointers may help to revitalize communication practices in your organization.

To survive you need to be at the top of your game, undistracted by whatever comes your way. There is no getting around it: You have to stay accountable to stay in the game at all.

Responsibility is a felt obligation to act within an organization's values. Being accountable means you can be called to answer for your own actions and, if you are a manager, for the outputs of your team.
